Maira and Aref’s wedding day was a little over a month ago, but to be honest we’ve been so busy with the wedding season that we only now had a chance to blog their engagement photos! June and July tend to be some of the most popular months to get married throughout the year, and it’s no surprise why – just look out the window! :)

For these engagement photos we drove up to San Francisco’s Embarcadero area. Maira and Aref were so comfortable with each other and easy to photograph that it felt like time was really flying – it was 9pm before we knew it! Our goal with engagement photos is to help our couples relax and let go to just be themselves. The photos we take are a natural by-product of this interaction.

Middle of the summer is the busiest time of the year for us, it’s absolutely crazy in our office! To keep the creativity flowing, this year we decided to take a break and go somewhere far from Internet, Photoshop, and phone calls. We’ll be unwinding in Yosemite this week and will be back on Friday, just in time for an awesome wedding in Sonoma!
