Lorena and George had a beautiful traditional Chinese wedding complete with a beautiful red dress brought directly from Hong Kong, traditional tea ceremonies, a sea of red everywhere, and a reception smack in the middle of Chinatown in San Francisco! We don’t get come to Chinatown often on the wedding day and we loved the opportunity to shoot portraits with all the crazy colorful signs and flags in the backgrounds. Congratulations on a wonderful wedding day, Lorrena and George!

We absolutely adore relaxed, intimate, and always warm wine country weddings and were excited to start our busy season with a wedding in Calistoga last weekend. Hans Fahden is a venue that has it all: Cabernet vineyards, a pond full of lily pads and koi fish, a beautiful wisteria covered tea house, and an amazing candlelit volcanic ash cave, just perfect for dinner. We’ve worked at this venue before and every time it doesn’t cease to amaze us.

Becca and Anil live in Southern California so for them Calistoga was a destination. They did a fantastic job planning every single detail from so far away: everything was just perfect, and the day turned out to be absolutely beautiful. We have a ton of favorite photographs from this sweet wedding, here are just a few of them:
