We love to photograph friends of our couples! It’s always fun to see people switch roles – last years’s bride becomes the bridesmaid and a bridesmaid becomes queen of the day! It’s always humbling when you see that people love your work so much that they recomend you to their closest friends. We first met Barbara a few years ago when she was a bridesmaid at Gina and Jason’s Cinnabar Hills wedding and we were absolutely thrilled when she contacted us to say that she just got engaged!
Barbara and Carlos went all out for their engagement session and no detail was spared – from her gloves to his hat – they were the epithomy of the past:

Thanks everyone! Mike and Natasha did a fantastic job of capturing the exact concept we were going for. From the lighting, to the locations, to the poses, they absolutely nailed it. And they did a terrific job of putting us (well, me) at ease. It really was a lot of fun and I’m so grateful that Gina and Jason picked them for their wedding because it meant we got to know them and work with them as well. Some of these look like stills from a 1940’s movie that just happened to be shot in color. It definitely gives you an insight into the personality of the couple. I’m sure the wedding is going to be just as fun!
