Brien and Tyler’s Arista Winery wedding was an intimate celebration of everything that makes a wedding day special. Even with well over 100 guests, this wedding felt like a close gathering of family and friends. Arista Winery is a magical place and it was a treat to photograph at this family-owned vineyard.
We loved the laid-back feel of this outdoor wedding. It was also a great experience to get to know Brien and Tyler. In the wedding photos below, you’ll see that they really planned the day around just enjoying their time together. They didn’t want to have any traditions or rituals that weren’t meaningful to them. Highlights of the day included the family toasts given during the ceremony. And of course, the wild & crazy dancing to top off the day.
Preparations took place in Guerneville and we took a shuttle bus to Healdsburg. Sitting on the second floor of the bus, it was a blast to look over the endless vineyards. We also drove over a narrow bridge and it was a miracle that the bus fit on it. Brien and Tyler’s family flew in from the East Coast and showing them our beautiful wine country was a blast.
More About Weddings at Arista Winery
Arista Winery in Sonoma County allows only up to 15 weddings per year. Located in Healdsburg California, they specialize in Russian River Valley Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The vineyards are located on 36 acres. Carefully landscaped grounds include Japanese water gardens, mountain and vineyard vistas. Meredith showed us the event spaces which included the Outside Deck and surrounding Lawn, aforementioned Water Gardens, Terrace, Oak Grove, the Pavilion and Tasting Room. Weddings take place outdoors overlooking extensive vineyard views and the neighboring Mount St. Helena.
We loved photographing wedding portraits and candids for Brien and Tyler’s wedding. This was a special day when everyone seemed to be inspired by the magical surroundings. The culpable warmth and love between this vibrant couple made all the guests feel like a big part of the day.
