Lorena and George had a beautiful traditional Chinese wedding complete with a beautiful red dress brought directly from Hong Kong, traditional tea ceremonies, a sea of red everywhere, and a reception smack in the middle of Chinatown in San Francisco! We don’t get come to Chinatown often on the wedding day and we loved the opportunity to shoot portraits with all the crazy colorful signs and flags in the backgrounds. Congratulations on a wonderful wedding day, Lorrena and George!
Here are some favorites – this one from the site of their wedding ceremony at Harding Park Golf Course:
Gorgeous bride + Rad wall = beautiful portraits!
I loved both of Lorrena’s dresses, I wish I could have two dresses for my wedding day :)
Love this moment when Lorrena’s father was giving her away:
This was also one of my favorite moments. It’s not very obvious in the picture, but that’s an iPad in the hands of the officiant. Love living in the Bay Area! :)
Lorrena had the task of biting George’s ear, love his reaction! :)
On the stairway of the Four Seas Restaurant in Chinatown:
Love the brick wall!
You guys captured some great moments and love the portraits! Looks like you had fun in Chinatown. How funny that the officiant had an iPad. Great job guys!
Love the pix with the red accents, the bride and groom look very sweet.
Great lighting on that last image. One of them days I’m going to buy you lunch and pick your brain. =0)
Oooh! Great pixs! I love them all…….
Red means good fortune to the chinese.
