The plan was to meet Shadieh and George at San Francisco’s Land’s End and walk around the trail while capturing some beautiful engagement pictures. When we arrived there, however, the wind was so strong we could hardly open the car doors. Instead, we decided to go with plan B and retreat to the Sutro Heights Park across the street, where tall trees would shield us from the wind.

It turned out to be a great idea as everything from the light (it was more indirect) to the quieter winds helped to make the shots that much better. Shadieh and George really seemed to enjoy themselves which is the BEST way to get great engagement photos.

Shadieh and George will be getting married at the end of September this year and we can’t wait until their big day.

Last week we drove up to the North Beach area in SF to take some fun and creative engagement photos of Philana and Mike. These guys were so easy to photograph! It seemed like either they’re naturals in front of the camera or they’ve had some practice. In any case, we had a blast with them!

Starting out next to Columbus Avenue we slowly made our way towards Washington Square and walked up the adjacent hill to the Coit Tower. Along the way we found tons of cute alleys, storefronts, and trees to use as props and backgrounds. The sky was just amazing on this day: it was slightly cloudy which provided a nice and soft light source for the photos. We couldn’t take a bad shot of these two:

It was a pretty windy and cold on the day of Teresa and Gary’s engagement session last week, although this didn’t really seem to get in our way of getting some sweet images in downtown Burlingame. We had a great time finding new and really cool places to shoot in this area.

We had an awesome engagement session with Juliya and Adam in North Beach, San Francisco just over a week ago. It was a pretty warm, sunny day and the streets were just full of passersby and all kinds of people who were interested in what we were doing.

The North Beach is one of our favorite places to take engagement photos in San Francisco and we always seem to find something new and interesting.

Juliya and Adam will be getting wed in May on Treasure Island and we are excited about their upcoming big day.
