Grace and David’s wedding took place at the Crosswalk Community Church in Sunnyvale and the Freedom Hall and Gardens in Santa Clara. We always love working with friends and relatives of our past clients and it was awesome to see Liz and Nick, a couple whose wedding we photographed back in 2008, at this wedding. Grace and David were so calm yet filled with so much emotion throughout the day that it was a joy to photograph their day of celebration. We loved witnessing their first-look as well as all of the friends and relatives congratulating them for taking this next step.
David has a twin brother, Bobby, and as the best man he was near Grace and David throughout the day. Jokingly, we were referring to him as a substitute groom, just in case, you know, we needed to take a quick portrait of the couple and David wasn’t around :) All joking aside, the closeness between the two brothers was very easy to perceive and it made for some great moments and captures.
The sunset light at the Freedom Hall and Gardens wedding was just what we needed to create some additional bridal party and couple portraits before entering the reception hall. We looove the sweet light around sunset time for how soft and beautiful it is and shooting at this time was a ton of fun.
