Here’s the article for easy reading:

“It bagan as a dance program and quickly turned into a marriage proposal. Barbara Dieckman grew up performing on stage at what was her childhood dance studio, Tude’s School of Dance, and has since turned into her home away from home. On the annual night of tributes and routines, Carlos Orellana gave Barb’s heart another reason to boogie. After the traditional “Partner Dance” and with an audience as company, Carlos dropped to his knee, confessed that his heart only two-stepped to Barb’s sweet tune, and then popped the question. Certain of her reply, Barb’s “yes” didn’t skip a beat!

From 8 counts to financial analyst, Barbara (A.K.A. Beemoney) was no stranger to detail and her groom-to-be-lawyer, Carlos, was just as accustomed to it. The wedding plannin commenced and these two quickly became acquainted with the stresses of juggling work assignments and wedding analytic.

However, by omitting traditions they were less familiar with or those that had counterparts in one another’s Caucasian American and Latino cultures, Barbara and Carlos were able to achieve a more focused plan and personalized vision for their wedding. The found that “it wasn’t worth choosing [ the Unity Candle or Lasso Ceremony over one another }, or having both integrated into the ceremony since they symbolize the same thing. We felt the symbolism of these activities was already represented in our wedding celebration by hte fact that we decided to have a bilingual ceremony” (English-Spanish)

Styled with a vintage overlay, the global feel continued with Barb and Carlos’ worldly travels, inspiring table and cake decor. The couple was extremely grateful for their family and friends that were quick to help get all of the stylish details in place and who transformed “the MO from planning and checking off tasks to living in the moment and sharing stories with great friends.”

Carlos’ final toast saluted their beloved guests by asking everyone to rise to their feet as their respective country was named. Fiftheen announced countries later, “the entire room was standing and erapted into cheers and applause. It was truly a celebration of culture and heritage that evening.”
