We love it when people ask us how couples usually find us for their wedding day photography – whether it was online, advertising, or some other way. The answer is always the same: most brides and grooms find us through referrals from happy couples whom we’ve photographed. Our goal is to capture natural, intimate, and harmonic moments in the most beautiful and creative way possible. And so it was with Betty and Andrew – we met this great couple through a referral from their friends whose wedding took place at Kohl Mansion.
As we got to know them better we learned that Betty loves nature while Andrew is more of an urban aficionado and how this played into their choices for both the wedding day and their engagement session locations. We love getting to know each couple as we find that our connection helps us to create more authentic and natural photographs.
Thomas Fogarty Winery is in Woodside and has some of the most spectacular views of the Bay Area we’ve ever seen. Rolling hills with vineyards, amazing cozy and elegant architecture, and an elevated lawn seemingly made just for perfect wedding ceremonies. We love natural settings and vineyards in particularly so we were excited about photographing Betty and Andrew’s day early on. The day turned out to be spectacular with great moments, an amazing sunset, and even a sparkler exit.
