Ellen and Jer’s beautiful wedding took place at the scenic Mountain Terrace in Woodside. This venue is amazing because of the wonderful evergreen trees and raw nature which surrounds it. If you’ve ever driven up Woodside Road/84 and passed by Alice’s restaurant then you’ve also seen the location of the Mountain Terrace – it’s on the same intersection.

This was a truly special wedding for a whole lot of reasons, not the least of which is that it was entirely green, earth friendly, and almost completely vegan. From the groom’s suit and the bio-diesel transportation to the event to the delicious coconut-based vegan ice cream cake – this was a wedding of two people for whom “green” is definitely not a catch-phrase.

We’ve known Jer and Ellen for some time now and it was a great honor to take their wedding photos. In addition to the beautiful outdoor setting provided by The Mountain Terrace we also loved working there because of the soft and sweet light which makes outdoor receptions all the more interesting.
