Sharon and Paul had a beautiful Filipino – Italian wedding and I think they did a great job incorporating both cultures: from traditional Filipino coins and roasted pig for the cocktail hour, to the Italian tradition of guests taking home five Jordan almonds to wish the bride and groom health, wealth, happiness, fertility, and longevity.
We also loved all the personal touches Sharon and Paul put in their wedding! Paul is a 3D Production Artist and he drew a beautiful graphic inspired by the venue in Half Moon Bay. These design elements were carried through from the save-the-dates to the mugs which the couple gave away as favors, name tags, as well as the ceremony programs.
Paul and Sharon got married in a small intimate church in Daly City and for their reception the guests came to the spectacular Half Moon Bay Golf Links. Now, I know nothing about golf :), but that was the most spectacular golf course I’ve ever seen! It’s situated on nearly three hundred acres of parkland, lakes, and breath-taking ocean-side bluffs with a beach access. We sure had some room to move around for the portrait session :)
I also want to congratulate Sharon on her upcoming graduation from medical school in less then a week now! She starts her residency soon and I know she’s going to be a wonderful pediatrician.

This is the next session from our Engagement Session marathon from couple of weeks ago. We were looking forward to this session for some time now, because Megan and Albert are as crazy about photographs as we are! The Palace of Fine Arts was unfortunately under constriction at a time, but it did not spoil the engagement session even a bit… We went around the place finding little nooks for pictures here and there and boy, were we blessed with gorgeous light on this day…
We are very much looking forward to Megan and Albert’s wedding in the Rotunda of Neiman Marcus this September. I still cannot believe that I’m going to be married by the time of their wedding! :)
Here are a few of our favorites:

Lorena and George had a beautiful traditional Chinese wedding complete with a beautiful red dress brought directly from Hong Kong, traditional tea ceremonies, a sea of red everywhere, and a reception smack in the middle of Chinatown in San Francisco! We don’t get come to Chinatown often on the wedding day and we loved the opportunity to shoot portraits with all the crazy colorful signs and flags in the backgrounds. Congratulations on a wonderful wedding day, Lorrena and George!
Here are some favorites – this one from the site of their wedding ceremony at Harding Park Golf Course:

Gorgeous bride + Rad wall = beautiful portraits!

I loved both of Lorrena’s dresses, I wish I could have two dresses for my wedding day :)

Love this moment when Lorrena’s father was giving her away:

This was also one of my favorite moments. It’s not very obvious in the picture, but that’s an iPad in the hands of the officiant. Love living in the Bay Area! :)

Lorrena had the task of biting George’s ear, love his reaction! :)
