Well, 2011 is almost over and what an incredible year this was! We wanted to finish it with a message of thanks and love.

We are so grateful for all our rock star clients! We’re blessed to have so many wonderful clients who trust us and challenge us to stretch our creative wings. We are also thankful for our amazing family and friends who support us with all the crazy ideas that we have and love us no matter what. We are truly blessed.

It was our pleasure and honor recently to photograph the wedding of Miriam and Jay at the gorgeous Dawn Ranch Lodge in Guerneville. When we met this great couple we immediately fell in love with their idea for how they wanted to personalize their celebration: Miriam and Jay met at a comic book shop in Santa Cruz and wanted to bring their passion for this art form into the big day. We always love to hear about couples personalizing their wedding days and this seemed like a great way to do it.

Additionally, their wedding took place at one of our favorite venues in wine country – the rustic Dawn Ranch Lodge. We just love the great, expansive meadows and orchards that serve so well for outdoor ceremonies and even reception dinners. Miriam and Jay’s wedding was blessed with simply amazing weather considering it was already the beginning of December. We had a blast documenting their celebration and wish them all the best!
