This weekend we decided to do something a little different: we still went to a wedding, but this time it was as guests!! :) Roger, a friend I’ve known since middle school, was married to his sweetheart Judy at a gorgeous Calistoga winery. Can you guess who was the best man?

To be honest, this was the first time I’ve ever been part of a bridal party. I do have to say it’s a lot of fun though! The Hans Fahden vineyards are simply breathtaking with ponds, flowers, and an actual volcanic cave for the reception. It was great to be able to relax through most of the day, although knowing that I need to make a speech was keeping me from enjoying the wine too much :) All went well and Natasha and I had a great time.

Here are a few snaps from our point & shoot:

The photographers at this wedding were friends of ours and it was fun to watch them work. James and Lisa did a fantastic job with the bridal party shots and we were all enjoying ourselves. It was great to see their approach to wedding photography, as no two artists are the same.

We will actually be photographing a wedding at Hans Fahden in July of this year as well and we’re more than thrilled.

Congratulations to Roger and Judy!! We enjoyed celebrating this important day with you.

Mike

I’d feel so LOST if I wasn’t taking pictures at a wedding. Heck, I kept wanting to take photos at my own wedding! Thanks goodness I hired professionals… :):):)
