Virginia and Ed’s wedding had the unique theme and style of a Country Fair. Held at a private estate in Aptos, the wedding had so many beautiful details that we just couldn’t put the cameras down for a minute throughout the day:

The handsome groom:

And his beautiful bride:

The ceremony included much laughter and joy:

After the ceremony all guests were encouraged to play a variety of games and then invited to a delicious open air meal.

I loved the decorations and colorful booths: the entire grounds had such a wonderful fair feel to it! There was a pie walk (you had to see the yummy prizes), milk bottle knockdown, feed the fish, pickle toss, and even a petting zoo!

During the toasts:

We loved their adorable dogs, Sanford and Lillie!

This fun day concluded with a raffle contest and some very yummy pies for desert. Guests boarded atop a horse drawn carriage which delivered them to their cars:

Congratulations to Virginia and Ed!! We were happy to celebrate this important day along with you.

Elly and Boris were wed just one week after Svetlana and Alex at the Congregation Beth Am. This beautiful day started at the Elizabeth Gamble Gardens in Palo Alto where we took photos of the bridal party. These gardens are simply amazing: there was everything from blooming flowers to cucumbers and sunflowers. We had a great time exploring this area and finding some nice backgrounds and scenes for the shots.

The outdoor ceremony at Beth Am had plenty of amazing moments to be captured:

The reception was chock full of dancing, celebration, toasts, and a much happiness shared amongst everyone:

This belly dancer was just wowing the entire audience:

We were very happy to celebrate with you, Elly and Boris! I hope your honeymoon to Costa Rica was incredible :)

We are currently still in LA and just came back from an amazing wedding yesterday in Beverly Hills. The plan is to spend another day relaxing and checking out the local attractions here in So Cal and we should be back in town on Wednesday night. So this blog post is coming to you from the road….
A couple of weeks ago we drove to Los Altos for the wedding of Svetlana & Alex. Their celebration took place in Congregation Beth Am. This wedding had a wonderful theme of tango: starting with the ceremony, when they danced under the Chuppah, and continuing throughout the reception where at some point it seemed that all of the guests were dancing tango at the same time.
Here are a few of our favorites:

The reception was full of touching and creative toasts. There were theatrical sketches, singing, and a whole variety of performances.

We loved that at the beginning of the reception Svetlana changed into a cool outfit which was more appropriate for dancing. Her hairpiece was so cool that we couldn’t resist to steal the bride for a few photos during the reception.

It’s always very nice for us to see familiar faces at the weddings we shoot. At this wedding we were happy to see a few of our friends and even one of our past brides and grooms from this spring. Thanks for referring us, Greg and Olga!
Congratulations Svetlana and Alex! Thank you for inviting us to share your day!
