Today I was looking through some of our 2010 weddings and realized that we haven’t yet blogged our “Best Of” images from 2010. There’s still some time before our 2011 wedding season officially kicks off, so over the next few weeks we’ll be sharing some of our favorite images from last year.

I’ll start off with some of our favorite ring shots. Until this year we’ve never thought of putting pictures of the rings in a separate category, but this year we have some many of them, all different, that they were just asking to be posted separately.

We try to take pictures of the rings at every wedding, usually during the reception, when things are not as intense, so we can take a breath and look around. It became something of a game for us – to look around the room and try to come up with the most creative way for the best ring shots. We often try to incorporate the feel of the wedding into these photos so that the personality of the couple and the wedding shows through.
